Bills are higher than the peaks of mountains
I wish we could stand on top
Witness sunsets with our feet touching the clouds
But our minds are elsewhere
Somehow, we reside in dungeons
Fire-breathing beasts of this life are everywhere
Seemingly closer than our skin
We feel the heat
Distress rattles our bones as if we stand in a dry valley
Who will speak life?
Hearts pounding harder and harder
Sweaty palms as deadlines approach
Deer in the headlights
Do we dare try?
We fall
But we will rise
I am assured
The provision of our Lord is still available to us
We will never be put to shame
We will stand on mountain tops as overcomers
We will stand in valleys and stare pain their eyes
We will stand on the promises of Yahweh
We do not live this life alone
Let the provisions of God fall on us
As dew falls to the earth
Representative of His mercies
Indicative of His love for us
