There are stars in a sky
There is dew that draws near after nighttime
There is a moon that shines
There are birds that sing when the morn gives light
These things we do not question
This awe we never suppose
This truth we seldom reflect on
The flaw that is perfect under everyone’s nose
Yet we furrow at hearts impulses
Still we bicker at differing minds
How we refuse to hold cold hands
And break the pace of a synchronized dance
Why do we not see what is meant to be
How can we not know what within us bestows
When will we hear melodies sweet to our ears
Where is our faith in love?
