When I become afraid
Life situations cramming my mind
Still so hard to explain

When I feel so lost
In a world, I want to live in
Like a ship on the waves, I tumble and toss

I search for confidence
The source is running dry

To everything surrounding me
I feel different
Sheep out of the fold

That day has come for me to realise
For me to open my eyes
I won’t make it on my own
Taking thought for the future will never help
For my smiles turn to frown

I won’t be alone

You have been with me through all my struggles
Each turned into a testimony
When I thought I was about to crash and burn
You held me closely

So why am I afraid in the world of success?
Why do I feel so lost?
You’ve shown me the path to take
You held my future
I know it’s with You

I’m limiting your limitless power
Please, Lord, renew my faith in Yo
I need you every second, each hour
Forgive me and draw me closer to you

Today,
I place each moment at the foot of the cross
Have Your own way
I’m the employee
You are the boss
The light at the end of the tunnel will get brighter
The world is wearing thin
While in this world, dear Lord
Use me to be a beacon, fleeing from sin
