Ooops! Crash! Boom!
Toppled over, face to pavement, ankle to bar there are always scars.
Ooops! Crash! Boom!
Rolled on my back, metal cracked, fingers snapped, more scars.
Ooops! Crash!
Bent over, body slumped, hips bumped, toes curled, there are bruises.
Ooops! Crash?
Slanted to the side, eyes wide, feet behind, tears cried, just some bruises.
Ooops!
Sitting upright, bandages on, wrapped arms, braced knees, it’s time to heal.
Ooops!?
Tries to walk, drops cane, hits head, forgets name, this again, I thought I was healing?
Proceeds to talk,
Realizing this was easier then every effort before
Never needing to rise from the floor,
Just giving yourself a chance to understand more.
Now you’ve assessed… –
You’ve mapped out a path
And now you’re focused on learning.
What made you fall so fast.
See we never really see,
Nor do we ever know,
But we can do ourselves a favour and let our past errors show.
